Meet DOODAD. DOODAD is an indie pop duo project by friends Kainan Simonds and Sasha Gray. While they collaborate on all aspects of their music, Kainan takes the lead on production, and Sasha focuses on vocals and songwriting. Drawing inspiration from a broad range of contemporaries in the indie pop realm and beyond, they make music that fits right into the indie pop genre but always feels "uniquely DOODAD."

Kainan and Sasha have been crafting music together since 2020, dedicating years to honing their sound and blending their individual talents into a cohesive artistic style. Their debut track, THE ALIENS, was released in February 2024, marking an important milestone in their journey. DOODAD followed up THE ALIENS with the release of CAN WE PRETEND? in Summer of 2024 and ended out the year with the release of TAKE ME WHEREVER YOU WANT. 

DOODAD is looking forward to an exciting 2025, with plans to release a series of new songs, hoping listeners will enjoy their music as much as they love creating it.
